Alex Reid rape scene criticism continues

A Sunday newspaper recently revealed that the forthcoming film sees cage fighter Alex Reid simulating raping and throttling a girl, who then appears to "enjoy" her ordeal by gasping with pleasure.
Rape victim Jenna Walsh, 22, has now told The Sun: "It's disgusting. What sort of sick person takes pleasure in watching acts of sexual violence? Surely these films can't be legal.
"It sends a message saying that it is okay to force yourself on a woman and that she actually likes it. It worries me that men - especially young and impressionable men - will see such a film and think it's the norm, just a fantasy like any other, and that is a dangerous perception to have."
She continued: "Glamorising rape in this way insults women like me who have been the victims of despicable sex crimes and puts other women at risk. Katie Price should have nothing to do with a man who earns a living from portraying sexual violence."
Walsh's complaints have been backed by criminal justice expert Dr Nicole Westmarland, who is a lecturer at Durham University.
She commented: "We already have an atrocious rape conviction rate. And jury beliefs in rape myths - such as women say no but they mean yes - undoubtedly play a role in keeping these rates so low.
"It has been reported that the woman in the scene is 'enjoying' violent sex. Of course, different women enjoy different types of sex. But there is something the matter with reinforcing dangerous rape myths."
Price recently insisted that press coverage of Killer Bitch has been exaggerated, describing recent reports as "bulls**t".
