Cibrian, wife "both happy" about divorce

Eddie Cibrian has filed for divorce from estranged wife Brandi Glanville, according to E! News.

The CSI: Miami star, who is rumoured to be romancing LeAnn Rimes, is understood to have filed papers to end their eight-year marriage earlier this week.

"He filed... and I accepted it. We're getting a divorce. We talked to each other yesterday," said Glanville.

She went on to say that Cibrian and his "new" girlfriend were "going on vacation this weekend to Mexico... I'm really looking forward to seeing those pictures".

Glanville added: "It's just over for me. We're both happy. This is going to be good."

Cibrian and Rimes have previously denied reports that they had an affair while filming the television movie Northern Lights together earlier this year.

A representative for Cibrian has yet to comment.
