Brown 'threatened to kill' Rihanna

Chris Brown threatened to kill Rihanna during his assault of her, police reports have revealed.

The assault in February began after the 'Umbrella' singer hit the dashboard of Brown's car during a row on the way home from a pre-Grammys party.

According to The Sun, Brown pulled over and tried to push Rihanna out of the car, before hitting her. He then drove off, continuing to punch her with his right hand.

When Rihanna checked her injuries in the mirror, Brown told her: "I'm going to beat the s**t out of you when we get home. You wait and see."

The singer tried to call her assistant, but failed to get through. However, she pretended to ask her aide to call the police.

Brown then warned: "You just did the stupidest thing ever. Now I'm really going to kill you."

He continued to hit her, put her in a headlock and bit her ear. The assault ended when Rihanna tried to shatter the window with her shoe.

Brown was sentenced to community service and five years of probation yesterday.
