Kate Gosselin admits: 'I'm lonely'

Kate Gosselin has admitted that she has been "lonely" since splitting from husband Jon, but insisted that she is too busy for romance.

The Jon & Kate Plus 8 star, who confirmed her separation from Jon in June, told Larry King Live that her focus is on helping her eight children understand the break-up.

"They understand the process. They're working through it, the same that Jon and I are," she explained.

"They're doing remarkably well. This has opened up a lot of discussions between them and myself. A lot of questions come my way, and we're dealing with it. They're doing very well considering."

When asked if she is dating, she replied: "No. Too busy. Sorry. I'm lonely but I'm very busy and actually, I'm alright."

It was recently reported that Gosselin will replace Elisabeth Hasselbeck as co-host of The View for two episodes next month.
