Cilmi flies back to UK after family death
Gabriella Cilmi has flown back to the UK after attending her grandfather's funeral in Australia.

The 'Sweet About Me' singer, who returned to her parents' home in Melbourne earlier this month to say goodbye to her 'Nonno', is believed to be recording her second album in London.

Friend of the family Chris Telley told News.com.au: "She was very upset but Gab was happy she got back just in time to spend some time with him and say goodbye before he died."

Cilmi apparently pre-recorded a song in Italian that was played at the service.

A spokesperson for Cilmi's record label Warner Music said that she had returned home for "personal family reasons" and that she is still planning to release a single before Christmas.
