Parker Posey diagnosed with Lyme Disease

Parker Posey has been forced to withdraw from an upcoming Off-Broadway play after being diagnosed with Lyme Disease, says The AP.

The Best In Show actress had been slated to star in Melissa James Gibson's This, which tells the story of a single mother and poet dealing with her love life and friends.

Playwright Horizons have said that the production will still begin previews on November 6 before opening on December 2.

A replacement for Posey has not yet been announced.
