Heche ex responds to "lazy ass" comment

The ex-husband of Anne Heche has claimed that he was "disturbed" by her recent appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman.

The Hung actress hit the headlines after she branded Coley Laffoon a "lazy ass" and joked that his only job was to pick up child support checks for their 7-year-old son Homer.

Speaking to Us Weekly, he said: "I was disturbed to see Anne taking out her personal frustration on the father of her child on national television."

He reportedly added on his Facebook page: "I wish Anne Heche could see that public bullying isn't good for the soul or positive for her child. It's mean."

Laffoon, who currently works for a real estate company, filed for divorce from Heche in 2007 after five years of marriage.
