Published Friday, Dec 3 2004, 22:46 GMT | By James Welsh
A bucket of slurry was thrown over Robert Kilroy-Silk in Manchester on Friday.
The BBC reports that someone "emerged from behind a bush" and deposited the farm slurry over the former talk show host as he got out of a car to participate in Radio 4's Any Questions? programme.
Kilroy-Silk reported that the man who threw the slurry told him that he was "doing it in the name of Islam."
