Katona accountant: 'We never got on'

WENN

Kerry Katona's ex-accountant has said that he is not interested in a reconciliation after he accused her of injuring him with a cup of hot tea.

David McHugh claimed that Katona's husband Mark Croft had sent him a text after the alleged attack in a bid to make peace between the pair, The Mirror reports.

Of the incident, McHugh said: "The door slammed open and she said, 'David what the f**king hell is this?' She was yelling and yelling and yelling.

"She started getting nasty and went for me. She caught my neck and ear and threw a hot scalding cup of tea over me, with papers going everywhere."

He added: "I've got black and blue bruises on my neck and side. My neck is still sore. The police wanted me to go to hospital but I decided not to.

"I have no intention of sorting this out. I'm not interested. I'm severing all contact with her. We never really got on very well."

Katona was arrested after the incident, which was reportedly sparked by a conversation with insolvency firm Baker Tilly regarding her continued bankruptcy.
