Krasinski, Blunt confirm engagement

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt have confirmed their engagement.

The 29-year-old actor, who previously dated his The Office co-star Rashida Jones, has proposed to girlfriend Blunt after a year and a half of dating.

Krasinski's representative told Radar Online: "We can confirm that John and Emily are engaged."

A source close to Krasinski has revealed that there is "no date set yet, but it will probably be within the next year".

The sixth season of The Office premieres on September 17 in the US.
