Blink-182 remember DJ AM at gig
Blink-182 have expressed their sorrow regarding the death of their friend Adam 'DJ AM' Goldstein at a concert in Hartford, Connecticut.

It emerged yesterday that Goldstein had passed away following a reported drug overdose.

According to People, Blink-182 member Mark Hoppus said to the audience: "This night is really hard for us on stage.

"We lost a dear friend yesterday. His name was Adam Goldstein. You probably know him as DJ AM. He was an innovator and a genius and he loved music more than anything else. Above all he was a dear friend."

Blink-182 asked the crowd for a minute's silence to remember Goldstein. Fans held up lighters as a mark of respect and shouted "I love you guys" as the trio on stage started to cry.

The band's drummer Travis Barker, who survived a fatal plane crash with Goldstein, was reportedly quieter than his bandmates during the gig.
