The Kath and Kim star, who recently lost 36kg in a public weight battle, said that she has received so much overwhelming support that she hasn't had time to respond to everyone individually yet.
She told the Herald Sun: "I've had heaps of mail. I am not good with organisational matters and so I want to make a mass apology to everyone who might be waiting for me to write back. I'm really hopeless at that sort of thing, I blame an impaired part of my brain."
Szubanski added: "People have been so nice to me and I really appreciate their thoughts."
The comedienne has allegedly been paid AU$2m (£1m) for her weight loss campaign.
