Liam Gallagher 'flies to Italy'

Liam Gallagher has gone on holiday to Italy with his wife Nicole Appleton.

According to The Mirror, the Oasis frontman flew to Lake Como after his brother Noel Gallagher announced that he was quitting the band.

A source said: "Liam has taken Nicole away for a few days and hopefully he can put things into perspective.

"He has been putting a brave face on things - as has Noel.

"The tension between them is still very high. And only time will tell if they can overcome their differences."

The brothers' feud has cost the band £4.75m, due to their cancelling performances at the V Festival and in Paris, as well as upcoming gigs in Italy and Germany.
