The Emmerdale actress, who plays Katie Sugden, split from Robin Hood actor Jonas Armstrong after two years due to their relationship reportedly coming under strain from work pressures.
According to The Mirror, a friend of the pair said: "The split between her and Jonas was pretty amicable but Sammy has wasted no time in having fun.
"Knowing how close the two of them were, seeing these pictures will undoubtedly leave Jonas deeply upset.
"When they first met people were betting on how quickly they would get married, such was the chemistry between them."
An ITV spokesperson said that the couple had broken up "a few weeks ago", adding: "They are no longer together but they remain good friends."
