Adam 'DJ AM' Goldstein reportedly sent his last text messages at 1am on the day that he was found dead.

The messages concerned the Las Vegas gig that he was due to perform that evening but never made, according to People.

Sixteen hours after the text messages had been sent, a friend called 911 as people had been unable to reach Goldstein on his phone. Police later found him dead in his apartment.

The New York City Medical Examiners' office announced on Saturday that Goldstein’s initial autopsy was "inconclusive", and that more tests would be performed.

Celebrities, including close friend Travis Barker, have been paying tributes to Goldstein.
