Mel B 'sues former business partner'

Former Spice Girl Mel B has reportedly filed a $7m (£4.7m) lawsuit against a former business partner for fraud and breach of contract.

According to TMZ, the 34-year-old and her husband Stephen Belafonte set up a commercial partnership with Dan Catullo in 2008 to help the star profit from her "music, touring, merchandising [and] public appearances".

However, the couple allegedly claim that Catullo has since backed out of the $2m (£1.3m) deal and defrauded Brown in numerous instances, including forging her signature on a financial document.
