Welsh songbird Charlotte Church may give up on her music career in favour of one as a TV presenter.

Church is currently said to be in talks with BBC One bosses about hosting the final show of Top Of The Pops to be broadcast on the channel before the programme moves to BBC Two.

The 18-year-old songstress is also tipped to be presenting the channel's Christmas Day show, with more potential work in store if her involvement goes ahead.

Femalefirst report that an insider said: "The bosses believe the show would really benefit from a big name. Charlotte is just such a name."

Members of the music industry think that this might be a good move for Church in light of material from her debut pop album being scrapped.
