Katie Price 'didn't ruin wedding'

Katie Price's friend Phil Turner has denied claims that she ruined his wedding last month.

The reality TV star was accused of launching into a foul-mouthed tirade shortly after Turner renewed his vows with make-up artist Gary Cockerill on August 8.

However, Turner has now told PA: "People make a lot of stuff up about Kate at the moment. It was said she wrecked our wedding but nothing like that ever went on. There was no bad language. It was a fantastic wedding, she was a fantastic guest and friend and we had a fantastic day.

"I do feel bad for her. Because you open the papers every day and there's so many lies and sometimes it makes you laugh because we've been there and they say things which aren't true whatsoever. She's a fantastic person, a fantastic friend and she's obviously going through a tough time."

Turner also revealed that Price's estranged husband Peter Andre was not invited to the wedding because he and Cockerill are staying loyal to the glamour model.

He commented: "We were never going to invite Pete. It's not a personal thing, unfortunately when people break up you do side with maybe who you've been long-term friends with. So in that respect that's it."
