DJ AM memorial 'to resemble 12-step meeting'

The 36-year-old, real name Adam Goldstein, was found dead in his New York apartment last week. A cause of death has not yet been determined.
An invitation for the service is reported to confirm that "the format of the evening will be in the style of an open 12-step meeting.
"Adam's friends both from his life in recovery, as well as those from other areas of his life are welcome. We ask only that everyone adhere to the tradition of anonymity and let what they hear there, and who they see there, stay there."
The memorial will reportedly be held at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Thursday evening.
