Katona 'begs McFadden not to take kids'

Kerry Katona has begged her ex-husband Brian McFadden not to launch a custody battle for their two children, a report claims.

Last month, it was reported that McFadden had consulted lawyers over his daughters Molly, 8, and Lilly-Sue, 6, following the release of a video which showed Katona snorting cocaine at home.

A source has now told London Lite: "Kerry is at her wit's end and has been calling Brian begging him not to take her kids away.

"She's been saying to him that she can't live without them, the kids are her whole life. Brian thinks her pleas are pathetic but really feels sorry for her. His main priority is the kids and he's had enough of Kerry's problems."

McFadden is said to be hoping for full custody of the two girls. Reports suggest that his Australian fiancée Delta Goodrem is backing the plan.

The insider added: "Brian knows it will destroy Kerry if she loses her kids, but feels she has left him no choice. Her hysterical calls won't change his mind."

Katona has previously claimed that she is "not aware Brian wants custody of the girls".
