Richards: 'I can't remember the past'

Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has reportedly revealed that he is finding it "very difficult" to remember details of his life while writing an upcoming autobiography.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Richards confirmed that he is currently working on the book with friend and writer James Fox.

"I'm trying to remember things, which is very difficult," he admitted.

Firm Little, Brown and Company are due to publish the star's as-yet-untitled memoirs in 2010.

As previously reported, Richards recently announced that he has recorded several songs with White Stripes frontman Jack White.
