Katona apologises on Facebook for drug use?

Kerry Katona has reportedly apologised to her fans on Facebook for her recent drug scandal.

However, it is unclear whether the apology was actually written by the former Atomic Kitten star, Sky Showbiz reports.

On an account said to belong to the singer, she allegedly wrote: "First off I just want to say how sorry, ashamed and embarrassed I am over my recent actions in the press.

"I know I've let a lot of people down, my (friends), (so called), my fans (what I've got left), my work colleagues and more so my family. I've only got myself to blame."

Katona's publicist Sean O'Brien is unsure whether the comments belonged to his client.

"I believe it's a fake Facebook account," he said. "She's had at least 12 fake ones in the past. I won't know more until I check with Kerry."
