Klass, Ant & Dec, Ross see salaries fall

Some celebrities' salaries are reportedly expected to fall due to the recession.

According to the Daily Mail, Myleene Klass is thought to have seen her paycheck reduce by 30%, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly's wages may plummet by a third while Jonathan Ross could be paid half the £6m he earns a year.

McPartlin said: "If we're offered less, so be it. For me it's all about the shows. I just want to make great shows and brilliant programmes and the money comes after that.”

Meanwhile, some stars' wages will rise despite the economic uncertainty.

X Factor judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh could see their salaries increase by 10-15%. Presenters Holly Willoughby, Fearne Cotton and Christine Bleakley are also believed to have increased their income.
