Chris Brown: 'I just need to talk'

WENN

Chris Brown has revealed that he thinks that counselling will be helpful.

The singer was ordered to undertake counselling and anger management sessions after being convicted of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

He told People magazine: "I want to understand my feelings. I want to find out what really transpired as far as me that night.

"Sometimes when you're young you don't know how to express [your emotions], so I think it actually would be helpful to talk to a counsellor or someone who has an expertise in what those [feelings] are."

The court papers reveal that Brown had already looked into some domestic violence programmes.

"I wanted to take the counselling upon myself and... just talk to someone," he explained. "I just need to talk to someone. I wanted to understand the problem at hand."

Brown added that he doesn't think that he has an anger problem, but continued: "If I do, I will work with my counsellor and hopefully channel my anger into something like dancing.

"I don't think I would get that mad again. I want to be a man, so I have to be more responsible... I'd rather walk away."
