Sandra Bullock 'helps Reynolds marriage'

Sandra Bullock has reportedly been advising Ryan Reynolds about his marriage to Scarlett Johansson.

Bullock, who starred alongside Reynolds in The Proposal, has been helping him weather a "rough patch" in his marriage, the National Enquirer reports.

A source said: "She told them that every marriage has its problems, hers included. But she says they can get through it if they're willing to put the time and effort into making things work, even if it means going to couples' counselling.

"Sandra told Ryan the most important thing is that he and Scarlett need to make time for one another, even though they both have busy schedules," the insider continued. "She told him, 'There is no substitute for togetherness'.

"Ryan listens to Sandra because he has tremendous respect for her as a person and an actress."
