Lori Petty admits to drink-driving

Lori Petty has been sentenced to five years probation for drink-driving.

The actress was arrested in May after allegedly hitting a skateboarder with her car in the Venice Beach area.

According to The Mirror, Petty pleaded no contest to the charges.

The Los Angeles City Attorney's spokesman Frank Mateljan said that the 45-year-old entered the plea through her lawyer.

He added that she has already completed some of the terms of her sentence, which include alcohol abuse counselling.

Petty was not required to appear in court.
