Tweed 'has woman in bed when arrested'

Details concerning rape allegations made against Jack Tweed have emerged.

According to the News of the World, the club promoter is said to have met the alleged victim and two of her female friends in London's Embassy nightclub and then invited them back to his rented house in Woodford Green.

The women went home with Tweed to continue partying and the 19-year-old complainant, whose name cannot be revealed, began kissing Jade Goody's widower in his bedroom. Another man entered and demanded oral sex before the unnamed woman allegedly endured a "seriously degrading" rape by the two men.

Tweed's lawyer Philip Smith said: "We will be vigorously denying this allegation."

Fellow club promoter Ashley Rubin was arrested with Jack Tweed on Friday. Antony Davis was arrested later that day. Rubin and Davis are on bail while Tweed has been remanded in custody for breaching conditions implemented following a previous offence.

Police allegedly found a woman in Tweed's bed when they accompanied him upstairs to dress properly upon arresting him.

Tweed was questioned for 21 hours before being charged with one count of rape.

He will appear for a preliminary hearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 21.
