Tisdale praises "real sweetheart" Cyrus

Ashley Tisdale has praised her friendship with Miley Cyrus, describing the Hannah Montana star as a "real sweetheart".

The 24-year-old actress, who recently appeared in Aliens In The Attic, told OK that she values the "support" of her female friends because men could "come and go" in life.

Speaking about Cyrus, she said: "She's a real sweetheart. She's a big sweetheart, actually. She's someone who has really stayed true to herself, and she hasn't changed for how successful and huge she is.

"She's really grounded and so is her family. They're very supportive people. She's somebody who's always there to listen, and she's a great person."

Tisdale, who is also close friends with her High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens, added: "It's always great to have those girlfriends for support, and who have your best intentions and who you can trust."
