Speaking to ABC's Chris Cuomo, the father-of-eight admitted that having a large family created a lot of pressure but claimed that their marriage faltered because of Kate's constant verbal "abuse".
"Our relationship will never be fixed... I don't trust her anymore. I was abused... I was beaten down... I'm not going back to that lifestyle," he said.
The 32-year-old went on to allege that Kate was not being fully open in her recent interviews about the split, saying: "She made the first move. She knows the truth. I wish to God she would speak from emotions.
"She's not speaking from the heart. Please, the stuff you tell me in private should be the stuff you tell me on TV."
Gosselin's full interview airs on Good Morning America tomorrow.
