Sophie Price approves of Alex Reid

Sophie Price has given her seal of approval to her sister Katie's new lover Alex Reid.

The glamour model's sister said that she was initially wary of the cage-fighter and actor, but now likes him after watching him look after Katie's children.

"I've met her new boyfriend Alex Reid three times now and he is lovely," she told Love It magazine. "I'm not going to lie, at first I was a bit unsure of him. But the more you get to know him the nicer you realise he is.

"Her kids get on really well with him, they seem to really like him."

Speaking about the prospect of the pair marrying, Sophie added: "I think Katie will find love again, but there are certainly no plans to marry Alex. I don't know how long it will be before she marries again but she will do it when she is ready.

"The perfect man for Katie needs to be comforting, and be prepared to give her freedom. They will have to be secure in themselves and allow her to go out and have fun if she wants to."

Katie Price and Peter Andre were granted a 'quickie' divorce at the High Court earlier today.
