Vanessa Feltz has praised Emma Watson's decision to further her education in the US.
The TV personality admitted that she was thrilled to see snaps of the 19-year-old Harry Potter actress enrolling at Brown University earlier this week.
Writing in her Daily Express column, Feltz commented: "The charmingly natural pictures of Emma Watson's first day at America's Ivy League Brown University tell a happy, encouraging story. Emma is one young, world-famous multimillionaire who has both feet firmly and engagingly on the ground.
"She has no airs and graces, a keen and questing brain and every intention of fitting in, making friends and getting on with it."
She added: "Without a scrap of make-up, hair scraped back and mingling with the throng in denim shorts and a rumpled T-shirt, Emma is clearly signalling her determination to be just another face in the crowd. It's a breathtakingly beautiful face, but she has a damn good chance."
Watson has previously confirmed that she was attracted to US universities because they offer "relative anonymity".
