Green: 'I'm not dating Lembit Opik'

Ultimo glamour model Katie Green has denied that she is romancing MP Lembit Opik.

Green was linked to the Liberal Democrat politician earlier this year, after the duo appeared together at the launch of a Say No To Size Zero campaign.

Opik, 44, described the 21-year-old as "unpretentious, interesting and engaging", while she confessed that she found him "charming and witty". However, Green has quashed reports that they are now a couple.

"We went out a few times and had a great laugh - but are just good friends," she said. "I would say to any single females looking for a perfect gentleman to date Lembit, as he's one of a dying breed!"

Opik's former lovers include Cheeky Girl Gabriela Irimia, who dumped him in July 2008, and weather presenter Sian Lloyd.
