Kardashian: 'Baby shower will be big event'

Kourtney Kardashian has admitted that she is expecting her upcoming baby shower to be an elaborate event.

The 30-year-old reality star recently confirmed that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Scott Disick in December.

Speaking to People, she said: "I don't know what they have planned exactly, but [my sisters] Kim and Khloe, and my mum are all planning my shower.

"I'm sure my mum has been planning this since I was little. She is big on showers, so I'm sure mine will be a big event. I'm very mellow. I'm not as over-the-top as my mum and Kim and Khloe."

She went on to say that a theme for the November event has not been chosen yet and that around 75 people had been invited, but joked that her mother Kris Jenner is "always adding" names to the list.

Kardashian added that she felt like Cynthia Nixon's character Miranda Hobbs in Sex And The City, explaining: "She was like, 'I don't want any storks!' That's like me. I want it more chic. I want it to be a stylish baby shower."

It was recently reported that Disick had enjoyed his own version of a baby shower, celebrating the pregnancy with friends including Kevin Federline.
