The Jackson 5 star is organising a concert in memory of his sibling, which will take place in Vienna, Austria on September 26. Stevie Wonder, Chris Brown and Mary J. Blige are all rumoured to be on the bill, while Akon, Natalie Cole and Sister Sledge are confirmed to play the show.
However, US showbiz websites have alleged that Jermaine's show does not have the backing of the rest of the Jacksons and that he would be the only family member present.
Speaking at the British press conference for The Tribute, Jermaine said: "I'm not happy with the stories in the press saying that the support is not there. My mother has supported this from the very start.
"I have always stepped up to produce shows for the Jacksons, so this is just an ongoing process for me in terms of putting on events. It's part of the ongoing process of keeping Michael's legacy alive."
He claimed that Katherine Jackson and Michael's children Price Michael, Paris and Blanket will attend the show, along with his own children Jaffar and Jermajesty.
Jermaine also promised that the highlight of the concert at the Schoenbrunn Palace will be a surprise collaboration featuring himself and one final performance from Michael.
"Michael will return to us for one song. It will be a magic moment for all who love his music," he said.
