Nicolas Cage 'sells English mansion'

Nicolas Cage has reportedly sold his English home for around $6.4m (£4m).

The mansion in Bath is the latest property to be traded by the actor, who has spent the last few months systematically selling off his vast property empire which included residencies in New York, Louisiana, Rhode Island and Los Angeles. Earlier this year, Cage also sold off his castle in Germany.

The 45-year-old is cashing in on his real-estate investments in order to help pay off a $6.2m (£4.1m) tax bill, according to Contactmusic.

However, Cage still owns one property in England - an 18th century castle in Midford.
