Bridget Jones star Renee Zellweger has spilt up with her boyfriend Jack White of The White Stripes.

Apparently the pair underwent an amicable break up a few weeks ago, report Femalefirst.

Only last month, after two months of dating, it was rumoured that the couple's plans to marry would be announced at a Christmas party at Zellweger's Hollywood home. However, a friend of the couple revealed: "All this talk of an engagement was well off the mark and now they're not even together. They remain friends but that's all."
