Singer and actress Barbara Streisand is 'fine' following an operation to remove a polyp from her colon.
The benign polyp was discovered earlier this year during a routine colonoscopy, reports the New York Daily News. A spokesperson told the newspaper: "The removal of the single polyp was done earlier this month, and its benign nature was reaffirmed.
"It did not delay her scheduled promotional activities for Meet the Fockers."
"I don't think it's a big deal," one of Streisand's friends told the paper. "I just saw her last week, and she looked fine."
Meet The Fockers, directed by Jay Roach, opens on January 28.
