Rapper ODB "died of overdose"

Wu Tang founder Ol' Dirty Bastard died of an accidental drugs overdose, it was revealed yesterday.

The rapper - real name Russell Jones - died suddenly last month after complaining of chest pains.

The New York Medical Examiner's Office said Wednesday that the cause of death was a mixture of cocaine and Tramadol, a prescription painkiller.

The 35-year-old had a history of drug abuse and was sentenced to two years imprisonment for drug possession in 2001. He was working on new material when he died.
