Frank Sinatra wine confirmed for release

Frank Sinatra has had his own line of wine commissioned.

Sinatra Family Estates have unveiled details of their first vintage paying tribute to the late singer.

Prefix reports that 500 cases of the 2007 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, named 'Come Fly With Me', will be produced.

According to a statement, "the wine exhibits a deep ruby colour with flavours of cedar, tobacco leaf, blueberry and black currant, with beautiful tannins and a nice fleshy finish".

Each bottle of the Cabernet Sauvignon will pay tribute to the music and artistry of Sinatra. The wine label is also embossed with the logo of Reprise Records, the star's own record company.

Frank Sinatra Jr said of the release: "Dad often ended his concerts with a toast to the audience that said, 'May you all live to be 100 and may the last voice you hear be mine'. With the launch of Sinatra Family Estates, we toast our father."
