Forsyth: 'BBC stars are overpaid'

Bruce Forsyth has revealed that he thinks BBC stars are overpaid.

According to The Mirror, the presenter also admitted that he had taken a pay cut with "goodwill because these are very, very hard times".

He told BBC Two’s Newsnight: "We've always been overpaid but it's the demand and what's available.

"So if you're in that position, that does give you the status of asking for big money."

The BBC are expected to cut the wages of their presenters by up to 40%.
