Travolta 'thanks fans for support'

John Travolta and Kelly Preston have thanked fans for supporting them after their son died.

Jett Travolta was killed by a seizure during a holiday in the Bahamas in January.

His father and mother made their first public appearance since the 16-year-old's death to promote their upcoming film at Disney's D23 Expo in California on Friday, reports Contactmusic.

Travolta addressed fans, saying: "We appreciate the love."

Numerous stars offered their condolences to Travolta and Preston when Jett died.
