Penelope Cruz has reportedly denied that she is pregnant.

The Broken Embraces star, who is dating actor Javier Bardem, has been rumoured to be expecting her first child.

The 35-year-old actress told USA Today: "I start getting some presents from friends saying, 'Congratulations, you're pregnant'. And I say, 'No, I'm not, so return the presents'. It's amazing."

Broken Embraces is currently in cinemas in the UK.
