Messenger: 'The kids saved our marriage'

Melinda Messenger has revealed that her children helped her to reconcile with husband Wayne.

The former Page 3 model split from Wayne last year after nine years of marriage. The pair are parents to Morgan, 9, Flynn, 7, and 5-year-old Evie.

She told The Mirror: "My heart broke to think that Wayne wouldn't be there to see them come home from school or at bedtime.

"It was the kids who made me think, 'We have to make this work'. Then it stopped being about them and became about us. I just wanted my family back.

"I feel so lucky because things between us now are better than they have ever been."

The model added that she wanted to renew her wedding vows and that she would love to live on a farm with her family.
