Diaz 'builds garden to mark 9/11'

Cameron Diaz helped to build a garden and basketball court at a Massachusetts school for charity.

The actress was joined by Boston Celtics basketball players, school children and other volunteers, who assisted with the project to remember the 9/11 terrorist attacks, reports Contactmusic.

Diaz spent two hours working on flower beds at the Young Achievers Science and Mathematics Pilot School in Mattapan.

The 37-year-old has stayed in Boston to shoot new film Witchita with Tom Cruise. She previously revealed that she is looking forward to working with Cruise again.
