Alex James 'holds rock festival at home'

Blur member Alex James is to reportedly hold a rock festival in the sheep shed of his Oxfordshire home.

The band’s bassist, who became a cheesemaker when the group had a break in 2003, asked his land agent Paddy to organise the event, reports Contactmusic.

He said: "Last week I had Paddy organising a rock festival, only a small one, but it will be broadcast live on the BBC later this month from the sheep shed and a little bit from the kitchen. He takes it all in his stride."

He added that he drives Paddy "a bit mad sometimes" with his requests.

James has previously revealed that he is happiest when in his garden.
