Britney to face competition

Britney Spears will be facing new competition next year when her husband's ex-girlfriend attempts to launch a music career.

Shar Jackson, who has two children with Britney's husband Kevin Federline, will release Hot Girls in 2005, the first single from her girl band Mpulz.

An insider told The Mirror, "She was devastated when Kevin left her for Britney so there's still bad blood. She was a talented actress whose career has been overshadowed by her links to the singer.

"Now she's determined to make it huge and show her rival a thing or two."

However, it seems that Kevin will have the most to worry about, as the newspaper claims that some of Mpulz's songs are less than complimentary about him.
