Andre 'left speechless by Price texts'

Peter Andre has said that he was left speechless by a number of texts sent to him by his soon-to-be ex-wife Katie Price.

According to The Sun, Price sent texts professing her love for Andre four days before they were granted a Decree Nisi in their divorce proceedings earlier this month.

The messages reportedly read: "I love you. I want you back. Why won't you talk to me? We can still make things work."

Andre told New: "They've left me a bit speechless. I've received more than one in the last few weeks.

"For so long, I never said the word 'never" - but I'm saying it now. I will never, ever get back together with her."

A spokesman for Price's new boyfriend Alex Reid said of his response to the reports: "He's not worried in the slightest."

Price recently denied that she is still in love with Andre and added that she has "moved on" from their relationship.
