Simpson still hopeful for dog return

Jessica Simpson has insisted that she is still hopeful her missing 5-year-old dog will be found.

The maltipoo named Daisy was snatched by a coyote at Simpson's LA home earlier this week. The canine has not been seen since and the singer has been warned by dog experts that it is unlikely she will return.

However, writing on Twitter, the 29-year-old said: "Still holding out hope despite the a**holes that say it is a dumb thing to do.

"Daisy is my baby... why would I stop searching? I'm a mum."

Simpson is working with pet finding company FindToto.com and has offered a reward to anyone who can return her.

The dog was given to Simpson as a present by her ex-husband Nick Lachey.
