Leona Lewis 'buys Los Angeles home'

Leona Lewis has reportedly purchased a £1.5million home in California's Hollywood Hills.

According to The Sun, the X Factor winner decided to buy the house after spending a lot of time in Los Angeles recording her second album Echo.

Lewis said: "When I first got to LA I didn't know what to make of it. But after a while I found myself enjoying it. It's just a very outdoors kind of life.

"But home is where the heart is and at the moment my heart is in the UK."

Last year, Lewis said that she felt "really, really lonely" when in the US recording her debut LP Spirit and it was later suggested that she would purchase a £1 million converted barn in Hertfordshire.

It was also recently claimed that Lewis wanted to return to the UK because of her relationship with long-time boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa.
