Police contact Price over rape claims

Surrey Police have spoken to Katie Price about her allegation that she was raped by an unnamed celebrity.

Officers contacted the 31-year-old glamour model, despite not receiving an official complaint about the incident.

According to PA, the police have arranged for a full interview with Price in the near future.

The reality TV star first made the allegations in her OK column when she was responding to controversy that her boyfriend Alex Reid's new movie may contain simulated rape scenes.

Price said that she would never name the culprit and complained about the media coverage surrounding her comments during a recent interview on Five's The Wright Stuff.

Earlier today, a national newspaper claimed to know the identity of the celebrity, claiming that Price revealed his name while filming her ITV2 show What Katie Did Next.
